Principal-in-Charge

Raymond W Swartz Ray has been working with light for over 22 years.  As Principal-in-Charge of the lighting studio, Ray’s responsibilities include being involved in all aspects of design operations and production activities, as well as financial performance, for the group’s lighting design services.

Ray specializes in architectural lighting design/consulting and has been responsible for innovative and creative lighting designs which have enhanced the utility, comfort, and grace of numerous architectural and landscape projects.  Signature designs include Orchard Hills Town Center in Irvine, California for the Irvine Company; the LEED Platinum Environmental Nature Center in Newport Beach, California; the expansion of the Bowers Museum in Santa Ana, California; the Cal State Northridge Student Recreation Center in Northridge, California; the Jeffrey Open Space Trail through Irvine; and numerous luxury country clubs and resorts across the Southwest.  As a LEED Accredited Professional, Ray brings tremendous sensitivity to issues of sustainability and environmentally appropriate design.
