Senior Associate - Lighting Studio

Glenda Tagle Glenda comes from an engineering design background and has been working with light for over eight years.

Glenda’s enthusiasm for lighting design developed from her experience as an Electrical PM, where she focused on projects that demanded a specialized approach for innovative lighting solutions to create aesthetically appealing spaces. Combining a dynamic knowledge of engineering and building systems, she has learned to design lighting that prioritizes both the client’s aesthetic and technical needs.

Current projects include AlexHaus Market, Café, & Brewery in San Diego, CA; Lilly Building 2 Entry Screen at Campus Point, San Diego, CA; Toscana Country Club in Indian Wells, CA; the Villa Siena Apartment Homes Site Enhancements in Irvine, CA; Emerald Bay Community Enhancements in Laguna Beach, CA; Pacific Gate, in San Diego, CA; Station Park Green in San Mateo, CA; and the Edgewood Tahoe Resort, at Lake Tahoe, NV.

Prior to joining StudioK1, Glenda worked for Linwood Engineering Associates, P.C., an MEP consulting firm located in Irvine, California. At this position, she was involved in all phases of planning, design, and construction administration, with key emphasis on lighting and electrical systems design for commercial, retail, financial, landscape, and residential projects. Notable project involvement includes the Sweet! Candy Shop at Hollywood & Highland in Hollywood, California; the Anaheim Brewery in Anaheim, California; Pain Du Monde in Newport Beach, California; Saks Fifth Avenue at various locations in California; and Lucky Brand Jeans Retail Stores & Outlets nationwide.

As a Senior Associate within StudioK1, Glenda is involved in all aspects of lighting design, combining creativity with technical experience for corporate, hospitality, retail, commercial and residential projects. Additional responsibilities include preparation of design documents, initial site analyses, lighting fixture specifications, cost-effective solutions and analyses, comprehensive photometric calculations, energy code compliance, and construction administration and support.
